For an established SPC range
Your 4–6 mm line and 8 mm line can serve different price positions. We can quote the same decor direction and wear layer so your team can assess the cost of the thicker core without confusing it with an upgraded surface.
Give your customers a thicker rigid-core option with a clear construction behind the price. Elefloor’s 8 mm SPC series lets you choose the wear layer, decor, finish and attached backing while keeping the core thickness fixed. Your quotation identifies the full assembly and production origin.
Choose a view to compare the surface or construction.
The core stays at 8 mm. Your wear layer, surface and backing remain separate choices, so two quotations can be compared on the same construction.
| Specification | Series starting point | Your order decision |
|---|---|---|
| Core | 8 mm rigid SPC | The quote identifies core thickness separately from the full plank. |
| Wear layer | 0.3 / 0.5 / 0.7 mm | Approximately 12 / 20 / 28 mil; a wear layer is not a stand-alone use-class rating. |
| Standard plank | 1,220 × 183 mm | Your layout, price position and carton plan determine the useful format. |
| Dimensional options | 150–230 mm wide; 600–1,800 mm long | Available pairings and any tooling requirement are confirmed before ordering. |
| Backing | Factory-attached IXPE or EVA, as quoted | The pad and surface layers affect total thickness; request the complete build-up. |
| Surface | EIR, deep emboss, hand-scraped or crystal | Your finish is approved on a physical sample. |
| Layout | Straight plank | Our 8 mm series is not offered as herringbone or chevron. |
| Standard collection MOQ | 1,000 m² per SKU | Quantity per decor and packaging are confirmed in the quotation. |
Your customer can notice the plank’s more substantial profile, but the rest of the construction still determines the product you sell.
Your 4–6 mm line and 8 mm line can serve different price positions. We can quote the same decor direction and wear layer so your team can assess the cost of the thicker core without confusing it with an upgraded surface.
Your floor-height plan needs room for the full plank, backing and transitions. A thicker core does not remove the need for subfloor preparation. Your installer’s product instructions remain the reference for flatness, moisture and expansion.
A connected-board sample lets your sales team compare the edge, finish and feel alongside a thinner product. The product story becomes specific: the construction you are offering, the customer it suits and the price you can quote.
Your specification should identify what changes with thickness and what needs its own evidence.
| Buying question | What 8 mm tells you | What still needs checking |
|---|---|---|
| Wear performance | Core thickness | Wear layer, finish and reports for the selected product. |
| Installed height | A thicker core within the assembly | Actual total, pad, door clearances and transition details. |
| Acoustics | A different product construction | A report for the complete tested floor assembly. |
| Freight | A different product weight and pack | Actual carton weight, payload limits and loading plan. |
| Installation | The chosen rigid-click product | Flatness, moisture, movement space and permitted underlay. |
Your margin includes freight and downstream service work. We make the quoted construction and approval reference clear before the order.
Your lower unit price can reflect a different wear layer, backing or finish even when both products are called 8mm SPC.
We list the core, wear layer, backing and selected finish separately in your supply specification.
Your quotation and approved physical sample identify the same construction.
A thick plank can create a transition or clearance problem if the project only allowed for the core figure.
We confirm the proposed assembly. Your project team checks the complete installed build-up before product approval.
The product sheet identifies actual total thickness and attached backing.
A loading estimate from another construction can distort the landed-cost calculation for your 8mm order.
We confirm carton and pallet details for the selected product, then check the shipment plan against weight and carrier payload limits.
Your packing and freight scope sit alongside the product price.
Your customer sees the surface first. The decor and finish can connect your 8 mm range to an existing collection or give it a different showroom role.

Your shortlist can use an oak or walnut direction already familiar to your buyers. We confirm your film, gloss and texture together; an identical decor name does not prove that two samples have the same finish.
EIR aligns the surface texture with the printed grain. A matched sample helps your team assess that relationship. New texture or film development follows a separate approval and quotation path.
We can review other library directions against your target price and channel. Your sample confirmation identifies the actual decor film and surface, with no assumption that every film is ready in every configuration.
Elefloor manufactures SPC with incoming material checks, inline monitoring, in-house click profiling and a final visual inspection.
Your agreed construction guides material and process settings. We monitor thickness and density during the production run so a thick-core order is assessed as its own configuration.
Your decor and finish reference accompanies the specification. Click profiles are milled in-house; connected boards and edge appearance belong in the sample approval.
Every plank receives a visual inspection before packing. A pre-shipment AQL inspection and the agreed packing references support the finished order. Third-party inspection can be arranged.
Your quantity, decor mix and packaging scope determine the proposal. We confirm the production slot for your 8 mm order against the actual quantity and available schedule.
| Stage | Standard series basis | When the scope changes |
|---|---|---|
| Opening order | 1,000 m² per SKU for standard decors | Confirm each decor quantity and any mixed-product request. |
| Samples | Within 7 days after design confirmation | New film or texture development follows a separate schedule; transit is additional. |
| Production | Quoted against volume and current scheduling | We confirm a production window for your quantity and the current line schedule. |
| Branding | Your agreed carton, label and care-instruction scope | Artwork and language approval are part of the order reference. |
| Shipment | Order-specific carton and pallet plan | Actual weights and payload limits determine loading; no universal container quantity applies. |
Your sample, quotation and relevant reports need to refer to the same proposed product and origin.
A shareable overview of construction choices and order scope across six series. You can use it for an initial comparison; the agreed product file defines your order.
Your product file can identify the core, wear layer, pad, total thickness and installation format. The selected instructions define the permitted site conditions.
FloorScore, CE, REACH and laboratory files are matched to the proposed product and production origin. Your team can review the issuer, date, tested assembly and scope.
Your required acoustic result needs an applicable tested assembly. A pad material or core thickness alone does not establish the result for your floor.
Your current specification, sample reference or target price gives us a starting point. We will confirm the product, quantity basis and proposed supply terms with you.
